On the track of the answer to an ancient mystery, Omar is forced to
take refuge in the Hunters' Haunt. There, trapped between a killer
storm outside and a killer innkeeper inside, he finds himself trading
tales for his very life--and gradually the gods' design begins to take
shape.
Reviews:
Omar, like his creator, is a clever scamp. In the guise of sheer entertainment, he
and the other tale-spinners here have offered up real wisdom, on momentous (and
all too relevant) aspects of the human condition. It's a marvelous confidence trick.
